A2D rolls out fiber to homes & businesses in Warner Robins!
November 1, 2019, Warner Robins, GA
A2D has completed and activated the City of Warner Robin’s 25 Mile, all-fiber optic Wide Area Network (WAN). The City’s WAN delivers multi-Gigabit connectivity between municipal buildings and facilities.
Now that the City’s WAN is complete, A2D has now activated eCommunity™ Warner Robins, an all-fiber, open access network. eCommunity Warner Robins enables multiple Broadband Service Providers to use the network to deliver gigabit-level services to Warner Robins’ residents and businesses.
The eCommunity™ Awareness Team started handing out mailbox/door hangers along its fiber backbone route to notify homes and businesses that there are new providers who are ready to offer affordable, gigabit Internet, and other digital services to the city over eCommunity™ Fiber.
A2D is in a Public-Private Partnership with the Warner Robins Economic Development Authority and the City of Warner Robins, GA.

With the support of a $410,000 grant funding from Invest Atlanta, Fort Mac LRA has partnered to enter into a public-private partnership with A2D to build a Fiber Wide Area Network (WAN). The all-fiber optic WAN will enable the Fort Mac LRA to deliver gigabit speeds to all of its facilities and bring access to the “Fort Mac eCommunity” to local businesses, residents and neighbors. A2D anticipates it will start construction of the WAN the first quarter of 2019.

Warner Robins - Georgia's 1st Smart City
August 7, 2017, Warner Robins, GA
The City Council of Warner Robins, GA voted unanimously to allow the City's Economic Development Authority to enter into a public-private partnership with A2D to build a Fiber Wide Area Network (WAN). The all fiber optic WAN will enable the city to deliver gigabit speeds to all of its facilities. The network will also enable the City to begin the process of transforming Warner Robins into one of Georgia's first smart cities. A2D anticipates it will start construction of the City's WAN the 2nd quarter of 2018.
In addition to implementing the City's WAN, A2D will also roll-out its eCommunity Network. As an open access network, eCommunity will enable multiple providers to compete to provide enhanced broadband services to all residents and businesses in Warner Robins. Gigabit Connectivity + Provider Choice is now coming to Warner Robins.

Fiber's coming to Homerville
July 7, 2017, Homerville, GA
A2D was awarded a contract by the Clinch County School System to deliver a 10Gbps Fiber Wide Area Network (WAN) that will connect all their schools together.
A2D started construction of the WAN in June with anticipated completion the end of Sept. 2017. After the WAN is complete, A2D anticipates that it
deploy its eCommunity network in Homerville enabling enhanced broadband services to households and businesses by the end of 2018.

TMCCF Telehealth Network
June 30, 2017, Tuskegee, AL
A2D and the Tuskegee Macon County Community Foundation, Inc. (TMCCF), a Tuskegee, Alabama based 501c(3) organization, entered into agreement to develop a regional telehealth 10Gbps Fiber Wide Area Network (WAN). The proposed network will include over 30 miles of fiber infrastructure crossing three counties (Elmore, Tallapoosa, and Macon). The network will connect Community Hospital to the Tuskegee Macon Surgical and Medical Center, the Notasulga Health Clinic, and the TMCCF Operations Office in Tuskegee. The network will eventually be expanded to interconnect other medical resources in Tuskegee, Notasulga, Franklin, Tallassee, Montgomery, and Auburn. The network will also be used to deliver telehealth services to connected citizens via eCommunity.
Development of the network will start as soon as TMCCF receives its final funding commitments from various sources.
